    PRINCIPAL’S CORNER:

    Olympic Hills families,

We are so proud to announce that Olympic Hills has been named a SCHOOL OF DISTINCTION by the Center for Educational Effectiveness. We are one of eight schools recognized in Seattle Public Schools for sustained performance improvement in English Language Arts and math for all students over a five-year period, as measured by the Smarter Balance state assessment. This is the fifth time Olympic Hills has received a School of Distinction award, including 2007, 2010, 2015, 2016, and now 2017. This award ranks Olympic Hills in the top 5% of elementary schools in the state for performance improvement. Please join me in celebrating the amazing hard work of our students, staff, and families! Go Otters!
